In 2001, after a tragic car accident that resulted in losing the life of a teammate and friend, the tournament was renamed the “Rod Harquail Memorial 3 vs. 3 Tournament”. In 2007, the “Rod Harquail Fund” was established to help the families of ill or injured children in our area. Since, the creation of the fund, over $100,000 has been distributed to families in need.
